2. Pricing and Payments

  All prices listed on the website are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT).

  Unless otherwise stated, displayed prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

  Payment Methods

  We support secure payments through local mobile financial services (MFS) including bKash, Nagad, and Rocket.

  Important Note

  At this time, we do not accept local Credit or Debit cards directly through the web portal.

  Order Confirmation

  An order is considered confirmed only after the successful verification of the payment.

3. Shipping and Delivery

We strive to ensure your books reach you as quickly as possible, adhering to the 72-hour handover rule for in-stock items.

  2–3 working days.

  Outside Dhaka

  5–7 working days.

  No Cash on Delivery (COD)

  To maintain operational efficiency and secure transactions, Preview Publication operates on a pre-payment basis only. We do not offer Cash on Delivery services.

  Handover Rule

  Per national guidelines, confirmed orders for in-stock items are handed over to our delivery partners within 72 hours.

4. Return and Refund Policy

In alignment with the Digital Commerce Management Guidelines 2021:

  Damaged or Incorrect Goods

  If you receive a physically damaged book or the wrong title, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

  Refund Eligibility

  Refunds are processed if the ordered book is out of stock or if a valid return is approved.

  Refund Timeline

  Approved refunds will be credited back to the original MFS wallet (bKash/Nagad/Rocket) within 7–10 working days, as per Bangladesh Bank regulations.

  Proof of Damage

  To claim a return or refund for a damaged or incorrect book, customers are highly encouraged to record an unboxing video when opening the courier packaging. This serves as definitive proof of the condition of the book upon arrival.

5. User Accounts

If you create an account on our site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. Preview Publication reserves the right to terminate accounts or cancel orders at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including book covers, titles, descriptions, logos, images, and site design—is the exclusive intellectual property of Preview Publication. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of this material for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited under the Copyright Act, 2023 of Bangladesh.

7. Limitation of Liability

Please note the following limitations:

  Stock Availability

  While we update our inventory regularly, all orders are subject to stock availability. We will notify you promptly if a book is unavailable.

  Third-Party Delays

  Preview Publication is not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services, natural disasters, or political unrest (force majeure), though we will assist in tracking your package.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

9. Order Cancellation

Customers may request an order cancellation before the item is handed over to the courier service. Once the package has been dispatched, the order cannot be canceled or recalled. If a cancellation is approved before shipping, any transactional fees levied by MFS providers may be deducted from the refunded amount.

10. Errors on Site

In the event that a book is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect availability data, Preview Publication reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that product. If your MFS wallet has already been charged, we will issue a full refund for the incorrect amount.
